Comprised of 11 Municipalities, namely; Bagamanoc, Baras, Bato, Caramoran, Gigmoto, Pandan, Panganiban, San Andres,San Miguel, Viga and Virac. Catanduanes is an island province and is bounded on the North and East by the Pacific Ocean and on the South and West by the Maqued Channel. It is situated in the easternmost fringe of Luzon: 13.5 to 14.0 degrees north latitudes and 123.5 to 124.0 degrees north longitudes. Its aggregates land area total approximately 1,480 square kilometers or 147,990 hectares. The coastlines which stretch to almost 400 kilometers are most embayed and chiffed.
